2013 – Anthony Llewellyn, Welsh-American chemist, academic, and astronaut (b. 1933)

On a chilly autumn morning in 1933, in the bustling town of Aberystwyth, Wales, a child was born who would one day soar beyond the confines of Earth’s atmosphere. Anthony Llewellyn entered the world amid the simple life of a coastal community, where sea breezes carried whispers of adventure and curiosity.
